Muzo Colombia has concluded its successful third-quarter 2026 auction cycle, comprising 11 sessions held in Bogotá. The cycle brought together 60 buyers from Colombia and from international markets, a level of participation that reflects the strong and consistent demand for emeralds of Muzo origin.
Across these sessions, 60 lots were presented. The offering covered the full breadth of the quarter’s production: commercial-grade material, smaller commercial lots and entry-level lots were offered alongside finer crystals selected for their vivid color and clarity, in small and medium sizes as well as a number of stones of significant size. Both the iconic Muzo Green and Misty Green® by Muzo Emerald Colombia were represented across the sessions.
Bidding remained active throughout the cycle, with buyers from different markets competing on the most sought-after lots. The material presented over these three months reflects the distinctive geology of the Muzo mining region and the quality its deposits have long been known for.
With this cycle, Muzo Emerald Colombia continues to advance a commercialization model grounded in transparency and international standards. Beyond the market, Muzo remains a major employer in western Boyacá, where its operations support local health, training and environmental programs.
