New York – November 19th, 2025
Muzo Emerald is pleased to announce its first rough emerald auction in Bangkok, marking a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion after successful events in Bogotá, New York, Hong Kong, and Geneva. Building on this momentum, Muzo intends to develop Bangkok as a strategic auction hub. Starting in 2026, the company plans to host three auctions per year in the city, recognizing Bangkok’s important role in the global marketplace and reaffirming its commitment to strong, sustainable and valuable partnerships with local, regional, and international buyers.
In 2025, Muzo has already hosted 18 rough emerald auctions and 4 auctions dedicated to cut and polished stones, demonstrating the company’s unique ability to supply a complete range of production, from commercial qualities to high-end emeralds. This consistent auction schedule is made possible by the stability of Muzo’s mining output and its long-term commitment to providing the global market with reliable and transparent access to Colombian emeralds throughout the year. For buyers, this reliability ensures stable sourcing, stronger long-term planning capabilities, and ongoing access to new production, benefits that reinforce confidence and continuity in their supply chains.
The inaugural Bangkok auction will feature a private, appointment-only viewing from November 24 to 29 at the ITF Tower, welcoming international buyers, industry leaders, and long-standing partners. Guests will be invited to examine a curated selection of rough emeralds that reflect the richness of Muzo’s deposits.
At Muzo, certification is more than a formality—it embodies the company’s enduring commitment to transparency, authenticity, and social responsibility. This dedication extends beyond the gemstones themselves, reflected in the work of the Muzo Foundation, which continues to promote sustainable development and community empowerment throughout the Boyacá region.
